How to compare and switch
After logging in to your account and making sure that all your details are updated and correct, click the orange 'Get an up-to-date comparison' button. Once the comparison has run, you can scroll through to see your prices.
Here, there's an option to view feedback and more information on each supplier, to help you choose. To do this, click on the box under the chosen tariff on the comparisons page, then click on the
link which takes you to the MSE Forum page where other users have provided feedback on that particular supplier.
Once you've seen a tariff you like, the button to switch can be found on the right-hand side of your comparison.
It should be labelled 'Switch & get cashback' (or 'Go to site' if there is no cashback available for switching to that tariff).
Click the 'Switch & get cashback' button for an application form which you need to complete. Once you've filled this in, there's a purple 'Proceed to switch' button at the bottom. You should receive a confirmation email shortly afterwards which outlines the next steps.
For tariffs that say ‘Go to site’, we can’t do the switch for you, so you’ll need to fill in your details on the supplier’s website (and you won’t get cashback!).
